Dragging Forward

Although Microsoft is more secretive about their intentions than Google, some stuff is beginning to leak, and apparently it’s all good. IE will include an RSS reader, this will most certainly accelerate the adoption of newsfeeds as a mainstream technology. And hopefully improve the user experience of today’s Windows RSS readers. IE will also have improved CSS and PNG support. Sadly though, no SVG.

But more importantly, in 2006, MS will roll-out a new batch of top-notch fonts. Honestly, they’re beautiful. Off course, MS being MS, only to be available on Windows.

I hope the top notch fonts are not like the top notch font -CS- they released back in ‘95.
